Jing, as she is fondly called by family and friends, holds a BS Business degree from the Philippine Women's University.
She was a finalist at the Bb. Filipinas Beauty tilt in 1974 and a runner-up in the "Mutya ng Pilipinas Beauty Contest the following year. She's presently with the Anaheim Public Works Engineering Office. Jing is actively involved in several organizations. She's the treasurer of the Municipal Employees Association; a President of ST Boniface Rosary Group in her parish; the Outreach Coordinator of Philippine Emergency Disaster Relief Organization (PEDRO) adn a member of SHARE, Inc. Jing was recently voted Mrs. Philippines by the Cebu Brotherhood and Mrs. Kalayaan 2007 during the Independence Day Celebration. The beneficiaries of her fundraising projects were the street children of Cebu City and Quezon City with Ms. Lydia Soriano, the over-all chair of the Event, to serve the children hand-on. As Outreach Coordinator of PEDRO, she has helpled solicit funds for the typhoon victims in Quezon Province; Hurricane Katrina for 250 Filipino families in Texas and New Orleans, the Leyte Landslide and the Mayon Volcano evacuation.
